    Kip 7100

    we are looking to purchase a developer unit for the Kip 7100... I think the correct P/N is Z164680010...Mileage on the machine is 511,600...we are not sure if the unit has ever been rebuilt or replaced... thanks for any help and advice that you can offer...

    It's about time for the developer rebuild. No need to replace the whole unit, just buy the kit, and three cartridges of toner. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    agree just rebuild. whole unit is very exp.

    we have zero experience working on this...a fresh unit sounds appealing... seems like experienced techs rebuild these and still have tons of issues...we were hoping to just swap the unit...

    If you don't feel comfortable rebuilding it yourself I know of a company up in Connecticut that sells already rebuilt developers for all Kip models. I'll send you their website in a PM.

    The procedure in the manual is a little intimidating, but if you follow it you'll have no trouble. =^..^=
