Oki C3200 Service call 153 fatal error

this came to us with the error...can anyone point us in the right direction? is this worth fixing? how old is it...

It was a $400 printer when it was new in 2006

Error 153 is the black unit
"ID unit fusecannot be disconnected"... I do believe that is japlish for The ID fuse should have blown but did not

If anything simple doesn't fix it... Toss it

we moved the black unit to a different slot and the error cleared...the engine control board must not be popping the fuse on new units put into the black slot...working at this time...
