KIP 7170 toner dusting

Every week this blows toner onto the LED and charge corona.
KIP says this model does this, I would like to fix it from toner dusting.
Any ideas will help.

How many prints are on the machine. It might be time for a developer unit rebuild. You can try doing the toner guide roller pressure adjustment.

Had this problem on a 7100 and yes it will do this but usually over time and use. But I went thru all kinds of adjustments and replaced basically everything(including power supplies and wire harnesses), nothing worked.

Short and tall of it was I eventually adjusted the biases and got it to where I would come out once every 1 to 3 months and clean it off instead of weekly. Eventually the IPS and IF card went out on the machine and after replacing the IPS, main IF harness and the IF card the problem went away.
