Samsung CLX-8380nd Exposure Adjustment

Customer is complaining the machine is not picking up the blue ink from their slip printer. Is there an exposure adjustment on the machine other than changing the copy contrast setting to dark as they have tried this and it still did not work? They have tried it in both black and color modes as well.

Have they tried a different 'original type', such as 'text/photo' or 'photo' with the contrast adjustment? I saw from another of your posts that the drum and HVPS modifications have been done along with firmware updates I hope. Blue pencil or ink is hard to pick up, especially off of NCR type paper.
