Moving a RISO Duplicator

This might be kind of a dumb question but I have a RISO GR that I want to move into my new studio and I need to get it up a flight of stairs. It's not an extremely large machine but if you've ever tried lifting one with a friend you'd know how unexpectedly heavy and awkward they are to carry. The first time i had to move it my friend and i almost dropped it. The second time, my girlfriends father almost broke his back. Any advice?
