Oki mc361 613 code

Machine says toner ctg not installed.....when installing a new oem black toner ctg. Nothing broken and shutter opening properly. Any ideas? Did a web search and it seems to be a common problem.no fixes were posted however. Machine is only 2 months old and has almost no mileage.

There are a problems with the drum unit. I've seen similar problems on the MC561 and the C530. Replace the drum unit. You can file a warranty claim, and Oki will supply you a new drum unit.

I have the same problem, The new drum with primer cartridges does the same thing. Oki sent a replacement printer. Still have the same issue. Both drums work in my MC561 fine but will not work correctly in either of the 361's????

I just found out that the 361 is compatible only standard cartridges not high, if you install 5k cartridges it will show Not Installed. Hope that helps.
