KIP 3000 "no analog signal going to sleep"

We have a customer with a KIP 3000 and when you turn on the power it sounds like the unit is firing up but the monitor says, "no analog signal going to sleep". I check the power supply and all grounds, 5+, and 24+ volts are all there. The 3 fuses on the 24 volts are all good. Anyone have any ideas.

Re: KIP 3000 "no analog signal going to sleep"

    Hi

I have just acquired a KIP 3000 machine, which was working fine but has recently come up with the same error. Did your customer manage to get this resolved?

I have also contacted Minolta with regard to getting a license to be able to print to the machine, but they were not very helpful simply saying they no longer supported this machine.

Does anyone know of a workaround to enable this function.

    Thanks in advance

Either your print server is OFF or it's crashed. Remove the back cover and if the PC is not turned ON, please turn it ON. If it's already ON hold the power button until it turns OFF, then power it back ON.

If it requires any parts you are out of luck. No repair parts available, so I would not spend too much time on this beast.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

Thanks for your prompt reply, will give it a go. Don't suppose you know how to get it to print form the network or know of someone with access codes, by any chance?

The license you'll have to get from Kip, and it sounds like they weren't too cooperative. If you get that far I can help network it.

But without the license all prints will look like this:
