I am taking a chance that there are actually any Panasonic tech still on this forum after Panasonic give up on North America for Imaging equipments. I did a factory reset for a customer with a machine having a weir problem, that was having a Panasonic technical support person at the other end of the phone and solved the problem, not for my wife's machine for printing junks is looking for a color drum, I can buy a new color Xerox or Samsung for the price of a new color print cartridge. I know that their is a 1/8 watts resistor on a new drum that the machine burns out and resets the drum counter, but using the wrong resistor will fry the drive transistor and it isn't worth the effort. all machines needed to be initialized and have all counter registers set to zero, that should be done with a factory reset, I did not remember the sequence the service backup guided me through years ago to accomplish the task. I have tons of good drums for the KXMC 6020 but that is junk because the counter is on the machine, does anyone know the factory reset code, thanks!
