What adjustments can I make to help with skewing when paper is run through the ADF?

    1st Check ADF alignment

Customers move these machines by pushing on the ADF and it can be misaligned. It is normally noticeable by visually looking to make sure it sits square on the processor. Next look for torn paper or paper clip obstructions by raising ADF and pushing up on spring loaded turnaround guide. Next watch out that the scan slit glass has not separated and pushed back from the tape securing it to the guide. If all this fails there is a skew adjustment behind the front cover but I have rarely had to tweak it. Hope this helps

ADF misalignment is what I've run into 99.9% of the time. All I've had to do was adjust the screws holding the ADF to the machine and voila....it's done.
