    Panasonic 3510 error code E0402

Hi, I am getting the error code E0402. Originally I had a paper jam but once it was all removed I noticed that the paper tray is not lifting. Is this bummed fuse or motor? Please help.

Before I outsource and pay for a service call, I thought I would ask for help.

Make sure that you got ALL of the paper out of the fuser unit. Any code that is E4 you want to clean the fuser thoroughly otherwise when the machine goes to initialize it will not start paper lift motors. There is nothing wrong with the lift motors if the code is still E4. Make sure you take out the fuser unit and check all the sensors / clean them. Then just to be on the safe side I always do a LBP fuser reset. You need to go into maintenance mode and get to F9. Then from there go to Ram Initialize, then LBP Fuser Reset. The machine will automatically power down then start up. If it still kicks out the E4-02 at you after that I recommend replacing the photo interupter for the exit sensor. Hope this helps.
