Thumbs up pana dp 2010 abnormal noise

Fault: I’m working on a DP 20.10 at the moment and am getting a abnormal noise coming from the gear assay at the back of the copier. This could just be wear and tear but has anyone come across this and could they pinpoint a part that may need oiled or greased. Any feedback would be appreciated thanks.

    Hi George

these range of machines have 1 engine box at the back that drives the fuser, drum,Dev unit & toner bottle rotation etc, they r prone for constantly braking teeth on the gears under any slight pressure, remove the box. turn the drive by hand and see if you can notice a slight skip on the gears, check for cracks on the gears also
