Panasonic KX-MC6260

Does anyone know what E-6 is on this MFP?

I've been asked to look at it by a friend. I haven't been near a Panasonic machine for over four years. I've checked out Panasonics dealer support page at Workio.Info and can't find any link to this machine and any of my toranomaki's don't help either.

Any ideas?

No toranos for those as they are made by KX not pana.I had a quick look through my manuals and there is no mention of E-6. Only "call service 6" which points to high voltage power supply toubles....

I just got in and about it. Used my copier intuition and listened to the machine starting up.

Linked the fault to the black pcu ( it was siezed). Split the black pcu and cleaned the unit up removing a quarter of the toner, re-assembled and hey presto, I now have a working machine.

I'll now be returning it to my mate who believe it or not is a Panasonic dealer and telling him to order a new black pcu.
