DP-3520 Light Copies

I am getting light copies! When I cheat the door I watch as machine tries to add toner. It does a 1/4 turn stops and tries again. I take toner bottle out and reinstall and machine rotates bottle and copies come back fine! This is a temporary fix as I am going out to replace toner hopper. Anyone else experience this issue! Thank you in advance!

What is f6-21 set to Monty

I had 3510 and the lower corona pack had something wrong and change it out and it help Monty

I know there's a slip clutch inside the hopper that has been known to fail. Are you using OEM toner? There is also a sensor behind the gears (Part # L2EM00000011) that reports on toner inside the sub-hopper, replacing that has cured a few light copy problems for me, but if the bottle is trying to turn is sound like electronically you are OK, and it's something in the drive. Replacing the hopper will no doubt cure all your issues.

I have had a few of these older ones with light copies. You can also turn off the digital quantum in F5-25.

What does f5-25 do exactly?
