    Panasonic DP-C264 J18

any 1 came across an issue with a Panasonic DP-C264 with J18

the lead edge of the paper is touching the 1st set of feed tyres after its left the paper pickup unit, this is only happening with tray 1

    all other trays work fine

    i've replaced all tyres
    cleaned ohp sensor & mirror
    Cleaned registration sensor
    scrubbed feed tyres

replaced complete paper pickup unit inc loom
replaced ohp & registration pcb and loom & plastic assembly

    kicked it.!!

lubricated all shafts relating to the feed & reseat all earth contacts for the door that covers the 1st set of feed tyres

removed and adjusted the shelf that lifts the paper against the paper tyres

    any idea's lol

    ok i have a theory

it may be the feed clutch located behind the main sc board,

even though the clutch provides drive for both feed tyes 1 and 2 , the 2nd feed tyres are driven from the cluch by a belt, but the gear size is smaller which may cause less tension when the paper hits them,
