    panasonic DP-2330-DP3030 J-83 Duplex jamming

Any help much appreciated. We have at least three of these machines doing the same thing. I don't think i'm missing a bulletin. The paper makes first pass across the drum ok. Then goes up into the paper transport unit under the scanner and back down into the automatic duplex unit where it gets stuck between the floating transfer roller guide and the rubber drive rollers on the metal guide on the right side door. The rubber rollers sometimes rip the paper a little trying to pull the paper through for the second pass at the drum. Shims to increase space between the rubber rollers and the floating guide have helped in rare occasions, but looking for a real fix. Also have replaced clutch #957 p/n dzga000037 no go. Sometimes J-82s. There has to be a panasonic guy out there who has seen this too. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried replacing the dual-path guide? Part #DZJF000430. They can warp from the heat behind the fuser, or the end that sits in the solenoid cracks. There is also a solenoid and spring in there that should be inspected and cleaned.

Have'nt tried that yet. The warped guide sounds likely. Thanks for the response and part number. Will try all of the above. These are the wost panasonic models ever. Best regards.

Now that a read your post again, it sounds like something else that comes to mind...
If you remove the fuser, at the bottom, there are four screws holding a plastic cover. One of the screws has a collar and must be installed in the hole closest to the right door. If the screws get mixed up, it catches the top of the transfer baffle and can't seat fully under the fuser. It just stops dead in the right door.
