I have heard that prior to performing an F8-09 and/or an F8-14, there are some F6 parameters that need to be set to (0). Would like to get some input on this if possible. I may not be doing this right.

F6-17,F6-19, F6-62 and I might forget another one.

I usually set F6-19 back to 0 when doing the developer calibration. I was never aware that any F6 settings had to be set back to 0 for F8-14. It's basically just a drum counter reset from what I know but I've never been officially trained on fixing these things so...
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
O.o

I run 09 but not 14. We use only third party drum and 14 tends to throw things off on 80xx series. I reset the drum counter, run 09, then set F6-21 to -35 and F6-62 to -5.
On the 23xx/30xx series, I run 09 and 14 with third party drums without any quality problems.
If all else fails, pull out the second paper tray. Inside on the front will be the F6 settings from the factory.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
On all machines with copy density sensors, I run f8-09, make sure it does not over or under tone,(adjust f6-21 to your liking), then run f8-14.It will print a patch that the machine will use for calibrating voltages.
