    Question Color Copier DP-C264

Hi Friends, has anyone have a pic or a guide or a vid how we modify the black drum (DQ-UHN36K) so that it fit in color slots?

Get a drill and find a drill bit that is just slightly smaller than the hole I've circled in red in the image above. There's a metal plate in there to prevent the black drums from fitting in the color drum slots, you want to drill through that. Be careful not to go too fast or you'll go straight through the plastic on the other side.

That's the easiest way I know. Hope that helps.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
    O.o

You can break the housing by the hole. The plate just floats and can be removed.

There is an easier way. Remove the metal locating pins from the machine that stop the black drum from going in far enough in the colour slots. Use pliers and they will just come off and then you can use the black drums in any slot.
I have been doing this for years now and only once have I found the yellow drum sat too low as it is not sitting on a locating pin. You can just prop it up if the yellow fades towards the bottom of a print. Never had a problem with cyan or magenta units moving.
Hope this is of help to somebody.
