Are you scanning portrait or landscape? Does this only happen when you use the ADF? Does it jam in the ADF?
Answering copiman's questions would definitely help us help you but at first glance it looks like it's stalling while feeding through the ADF to me. A slipping clutch perhaps? I would take off the covers and run the ADF test mode (F8-47) and see if you can see any of the clutches stop engaging or if the paper runs into anything. Although, the test mode in that machine is going to automatically do duplex scans just so you know.
edit: Actually, what kind of ADF does that machine have? Being that it's a 1510 it probably doesn't have the duplexing ADF.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

If it were me I would make sure the ADF is flat from front to rear. Make sure your rollers and sep pad is in good condition. Try another clutch. I looked in the parts book and only saw one clutch for the ADF. If you do not have one, there are some in the copier you can use to test with. Do a search in the parts book for DZGA000007. There are many in there. This way you can be sure its the clutch before you order one. User Name is correct, you have something stalling.
