    Programable tech messages.

Ever go to a machine with something as simple as paper loaded wrong, then check the jam counter and see where they must have stood in front of the machine for 10 minutes trying it over and over? Wouldn't it be great if we could program our own jam messages?

...Hey lady, how many times are you going to open and close that door before you try something else?

...Ever thought about trying a different tray?

...I wouldn't be down waiting on toner if you would learn to read warning messages.

Replacing the toner will not fix jamming issues so don't try.

My favorite is the call for a machine that will not print. Everything else is working. I get there and there is a RED light next to the Print Function button. Press the print button and the message is "Please put label paper in bypass tray."

Kyocera made a KX driver back in 2008(?) that allowed you to type your own warning announcements. It had a voice module that did a pretty good job of enunciating the message. I personally got in early to class, and reprogrammed the driver messages. My favorite was "Load the paper on the other side of the tray, asshole." =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've always thought it would be useful to have a text box in service mode so engineers can leave each other notes, for example "Customer is using cheap crappy paper"

or "don't except an offer of a coffee it's tastes like s**t"

The new Kyoceras do have a message board app on them....which I thought was totally useless until now

www.manufacturer . com download user manual

Therefore, no more excuses for not having the user manuals to follow instructions.
