Re: how do you carry a 3000kg of photocopy machine up the stairs?

Simple math tel me that it's not going to happen.

    3000Kg = 3tons
Avg. Man can lift about 70Kg
    So that's 3000 / 70 = 43
So that means jou need to get 43 men around that copier to lift.
    Not going to happen!

Out of curiosity what copier weighs 3tons?

I know the Heidelberg Litho Press weigh in at 3 and more tons. But then technicaly that's not a copier.

Re: how do you carry a 3000kg of photocopy machine up the stairs?

Still would like to know what machine that is.
    A Heidelberg?

The answer is bit by bit.
Had to move some really heavy machines before.
You have to strip it into manageable pieces can take a couple of days to commission the thing.

3000Kg not even a standard lift can handle that.

...all the stock and final product that machine will produce would also have to take the same rout??
    Whatever

Let's see, a Ricoh Pro C5110s with all peripherals attached is less than 700kg.

shit still not a laser machine
Copied from a KM 1 spec sheet??

    Machine weight
    Approx. 8,000 kg

This is where floor loading comes in to play.
If you can get it up there do you really want it there.

I would be in trouble. I don't have 43 friends, and most of the remaining ones can't lift their own share anymore. Additionally you might be hard pressed to find 43 hand holds let alone 86 (for two hands). =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: how do you carry a 3000kg of photocopy machine up the stairs?

on average the guys lifting it would weigh in at 3.6 metric tons. It needs to be at least 15 meters counting all the sides.
So say 6 meters long and 1.5 wide.
That gives each guy only 350mm of space.

Turning in a stair case could be a little difficult.
Someone is going to die put you worst friend at the back.
    Whatever
