The truth is that they don't actually want single payer, they want single provider. Id est, they want the government running all hospitals, doctor's offices, labs, clinics, urgent care facilities, etc. They want all doctors, nurses, med techs, etc working for the government. In other words, one huge VA type medical system, and we know how well the government runs the VA system.

So what is going on with President Trump's trip to Florida today to campaign style announce his new policies to Cuba?

I have been to Cuba personally three times. It is a great, inexpensive place to go for a winter vacation. I would like to go back again.

The USA's position on Cuba has totally failed for the last 49 years. President Obama recognized that failure and tried to make moves to normalize political relations. President Trump for the last 214 days has mostly counted his success as repealing the Obama era executive orders.

President Trump, said today, said a lot things about Cuba that are likely not going to happen about Cuba. It was more of a campaign style rally than an actual policy presentation.

Was the real motive to appeal to his Florida base and not really care about policy?

When you go to Cuba, you are shown only what the Cuban government allows you to see. That is unless you wish to risk spending time in jail. The people only tell what they are allowed to say otherwise they risk being executed.
