Just how Crazy is Donald Trump!

After two unbearable years with the GOP in control of the House, the Senate, and the presidency, there's no funding for 'the wall'. The GOP itself while completely in charge of the entire federal government, recognized that 'the wall' was a boondoggle, a waste of funds, a worthless idea and consequently they did not fund 'the wall'. Now with the Democrats poised to take back the house in four days, 'the wall' is somehow according to Trump and the GOP, the Democrats problem, fault, and responsibility. Clearly the only people who resonate with Trump's less than clear and less than rational explanations are his beloved base. The vast majority of Americans know better, this mess lies completely in the hands of Donald Trump. What really burns the majority of Americans though, are the steady stream of lies coming from Trump and his minions. Trump and company without the least little bit of conscience, conflate all border security with 'the wall', all terrorism and potential terrorism with 'the wall', all that is bad and scary in America with ' the wall', as if a 15th Century BC outdated ridiculous idea could somehow or other fix it all. How stunning, how truly disingenuous, how amazingly despicable this spectacle has become. Once upon a time America was the leader in ingenuity and brain power, yet in two short years we are a laughing stock ruled by the political and vane whims of modern troglodytes. We can do better, I just know it.

Trump’s Border Blunders
On the day he met with congressional leaders to discuss the budget stalemate, President Donald Trump repeated several false and misleading claims about the Southwest border and the wall he wants to build:


Trump tweeted that “Mexico is paying for the Wall” through the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. But, as we wrote last month, economists told us there are not enough new benefits to the U.S. in the new trade agreement — which has yet to be ratified by Congress — to pay for the wall.
In the same tweet, Trump falsely claimed that “Much of the Wall has already been renovated or built.” Very little new fencing has been constructed under Trump, and none of it is the type he promised during the campaign.
At a cabinet meeting, Trump claimed the wall “probably would pay for itself in a month or two because we lose pretty close to $250 billion on illegal immigration.” There is no support for that figure, which is double another disputed estimate from a conservative group. Plus, such figures are for immigrants already living in the country illegally.
The president also repeated his claim that the wall is needed to “halt [the] deadly inflow of drugs,” even though experts — including those within his administration — say the vast majority of illicit drugs from Mexico escapes undetected in cars and trucks traveling through legal ports of entry.

In what almost appears to be censorship, Fox News - Breaking News Updates | Latest News Headlines | Photos & News Videos appears to be suppressing news about the 33 day old USA partial Federal gov't shutdown and its very bad effects on 800,000 workers and many more civilian subcontractors.

I read this website daily and rarely is this major story headline news for them. Coverage is usually some small article along the side that you have to look for.

In what almost appears to be censorship, Fox News - Breaking News Updates | Latest News Headlines | Photos & News Videos appears to be suppressing news about the 33 day old USA partial Federal gov't shutdown and its very bad effects on 800,000 workers and many more civilian subcontractors.
I read this website daily and rarely is this major story headline news for them. Coverage is usually some small article along the side that you have to look for.

shutdown is covered too much @ nitetime.. Tucker - Hannity - Ingram.. but it's over so.

I sincerely hope that the possibility of any Federal gov't shutdown is no longer an issue before the next Presidential election in 2020.

Unfortunately, President Trump has threatened to shut the gov't down again in three weeks if he does not get wall funding.

The FAA Air Traffic controllers slow down of three major airports and six or more Republican senators defecting to the Democratic side on the shutdown issue forced President Trump to reopen the gov't.

Long time ago we had a friendly population exodus from New Zealand to Australia.
The humour of the day was "Could the last person to leave New Zealand please turn out the light."

Needless to say that equal Aussies eloped to New Zealand, which kept the NZ sheep population still feeling nervous...

New Zealand similar to Papua New Guinea is basically a cooperative part of Australia these days. The Kiwi's and PNG have some great ruby teams.

We don't have a big Wall here in Oz to keep our neighbours happy, we have a big Mote. Needless to say we attempt to keep peace with the neighbours and generally work together on domestic issues. It's not all plain sailing but the tide is in favour so far.
