Well Kopyrtek did you ever managed to go to Ireland? I was born and lived in Armagh** for 28 years before I went of to seek my fortune around the world.
** Armagh approx 1/2 way between Belfast & Dublin
Laughing......
Have ya been ther yet?
We went in May of '08. for 2 weeks. Landed in Shannon and went from there, no plans just drove around, found pubs to eat in , B&B's to stay in, did some tourist stuff, went to Aran Islands, Inishmor, Clare Island, Achill Island, Galway, Connemara is absolutely stunning, meet wonderful people, got 2 flat tires at once in nowhere land, saw a drizzle once in 14 days, nothing but blue sky and sunshine, talk about lucky, skinnydipped in the North Atlantic,COLD.. Clifden, Westport, Claremorris, Ballina, Athenry, Oughterard, and so many other really nice places and people. Highly recommend a trip. Of course the west coast is much more rural than the east with Dublin and Belfast. There are so many B&B's around no need to worry about were to spend the night and simple ask them for the good food and local pubs. Loved the Irish breakfasts, especially black pudding and when available fresh farm cheeses. The economy in Ireland is at rock bottom right now, round trips from Boston to Shannon are $400 and most B&Bs have dropped their prices to an average of 35 euros for a real nice stay. Check out this place that a friend owns, you too can stay here!! Ross Castle, County Galway
Deals are to be had right now.
