Anyone have any insight on how to get this damn ink off? I just started tending to way more hp wide format printers and im tired of looking like an easter project everyday.

Not sure. I had the same issues on the Ricoh mpc 1500 gel printer. I purchased some latex gloves because I got sick to death of the stuff on my hands.
Not sure about you specific ink but hair spray works great at getting ink off of stuff, it will take pen ink off of anything almost instantly. Pigmented ink dried on skin might be a challenge but it won't cost you too much to find out. Go to Target (or Walmart if you must) and buy the cheapest travel size pump you can find and see how it goes. The cheaper the better.
BTW, While you're at Target, buy a box of gloves.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

You have to be a little careful with some cleaners, as they can melt the plastic covers. I tried a product (GooGone) to remove the adhesive left after an ID label removal, and it melted the cover; thankfully, our new ID sticker was larger that the original.
Test first on a back cover, not generally seen by the customer.

Thanks for the responses, ive used gojo everytime. Rubbing alcohol fades it just a little. Im about to see what hairspray does. i feel like someone, somewhere, has a genius remedy and its going to revolutionize the copy tech game. Maybe it is hairspray.
