Heck it makes as much sense as cow farts and burps does. Like these people are trying to convince everyone they do.

Kind of like the same pollutants that were going to cause global warming were also the very same ones that were going to cause the new ice age the alarmists were predicting in the seventies. The exhaust particles from cars and power plants in the upper atmosphere would reflect the heat from the sun away from earth and cause a new ice age. Now the opposite is claimed to be the result and a warmer planet. And now we have someone claiming that cleaner air is allowing the sun to heat the oceans and cause global warming.
Of course they fart and burp. But probably not on the scale that would be a major cause of global warming. And yes I spent a lot of time driving around farmlands in my state and noticed the distinct odor. Especially if it was a pig farm. But traveling a mile or two further away and into the pine tree farms and guess what the air now smells like a pine forest. Or if there is an apple or peach orchard you get the odor of those fruit trees.
Actually the time frame for the "falsified reports" are from 2010 to 2015 durin Obama's presidency. And even before that he was going to bankrupt coal companies. So as the person who actually chooses who is the head of various government agencies he gets to appoint people that agree with him. So logically the political climate in any government body will be that of the president and file reports that back up their boss. And Obama was a supporter of global warming is caused by humans. So back then they would have tried to emphasize any warming trend.

Heck it is happening now with Trump and the EPA removing information about climate change from the EPA website.

It lead me to read ran interesting article about how the three recent hurricanes will likely help to accelerate the acceptance of solar power and battery storage. Homeowners and businesses are looking at their options so as to not rely so much on the power grid. With all of the destruction to the electrical utilities especially in Puerto Rico solar might be a big player in the efforts to rebuild.
The majority of Florida's electrical power is transmitted via lines on poles which are vulnerable to hurricanes.
Florida Gov Rick Scott (R) has repeatedly questioned climate science even after Hurricane Irma hurt his state. Two years ago, his administration banned the use of the terms "climate change", "sustainability" and "global warming in official documents. The destruction caused this year might have energized enough people to pay attention to the climate and force politicians to actually act.
Side question:
Can solar power generators (otherwise known as those black roof panels) and their related accessories be sufficiently hardened against EMP?
