One thing is now for sure, this was the largest attack by a foreign nation against America since 9/11.

No bullets were fired, no bombs or planes blew up but it was a skillful sustained attack against American democracy by Russia with the primary objective to help put President Trump in power by attacking and weakening the Clinton campaign.

Nothing like this has happened in American history before.

History will judge how President Trump handles this attack on American democracy and its voting systems.

What established fact? That Russia tried to sow chaos in the US election? They have been doing it for decades. Wake up! President Trump and Vladimir Putin were on the world stage today in Helsinki.

After the formal statements by both Trump and Putin were made an open question and answer from reporters was allowed.

Two stunning questions and answers were given.


1. From Reuters at 9:45,

"Did you Mr Putin, direct your officials to help swing the US election to Donald Trump?"

Putin responded, "Yes, I did, Yes I did because Trump promised to bring the US Russia relationship back to normal."



2. From Associated Press at 3:45,

"Mr Putin, does Russia have compromising information on President Trump?"

Putin paused for a moment seemingly understanding the question but unsure how to answer. There was nervous laughter in the room and Putin changed the topic.
