    There are some instances where software creates a PostScript file that is better processed by a PostScript driver for the fiery. KPDL would cause issues. We sold one machine without a Fiery that had problems because the correct paper size wouldn't to the machine outside of a PS driver. We had to create a workaround to get the issue "patched".

    If the customer prints from AS/400, SAP, or the like, a Fiery will become your worst enemy. They pretty much suck in those environments.

    Another issue is that is nearly impossible to share a Fiery driver from a server; you’re forced to install the driver locally on the workstations.

    You can also forget about Citrix environments. It’s just flat out not going to work.
