MFP Bypass exchanged as a chair for the elderly?

    Hello,
I know the question can be stupid. None of you, especially those with printers in healthcare facilities, are afraid of the MFP bypass break?

It can be thought of as a chair open and close.

Or somewhere for elderly techs with aching knees to have a rest.

Occasionally over the years I have arrived at a call to find the bypass hanging from the machine by the harness. And NOBODY ever knows anything about it

Everybody knows about it, Anybody could have done it, Nobody will ever admit to breaking it,

I had a Bizhub 350 in an office on Ft.Bragg. The two tray finisher was at the edge of the Captain's desk. He thought it was a handy bookshelf. And no matter how thick and beefy the bypass on these machines look, they make a terrible step ladder for soldiers.

I had a Canon iPF plotter that kept jamming (pretty unusual). The keyop guy came over to show me where it was jamming ... he was leaning on the exit tray the whole time. The frame stops were bent completely over and the plastic features on the tray were busted off.

"hmmmm ... I wonder how that tray got damaged?" =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Saw an old lady "rest" her shopping on the bypass in our shop.....didn't take the weight at all
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...
