    Re: yellow post it notes

I can hear it now: "There's nothing wrong with our machine. You must have the wrong place."

I recall calling a customer to make an appointment. The young lady that answered the phone heard that I was from the copier company and told me that the person I needed to talk to was only available at 4:30 PM each day, and that I should call then. She thought that she was pretty funny, thwarting the cold-calling salesman from the copier company. After all, they're always closed at 4:00 PM.

I thought this was pretty funny too. I called each evening at 4:30 PM and left a detailed message about how I'd like to come out and fix the copier. Nope, nobody ever answered. After about a week of this I got a call on my cell, from the party that had placed the original service call. "Where are you!!! etc, etc,..."

I explained the specific instructions to call at 4:30 each day ... well it's hard to describe the sound I heard from my end of the phone. Sort of a bellowing. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
