    Re: Hurricane Florence

I went through the floods here in Nashville in 2010. Some of our customers suffered a total loss... including one where you could see the water-line on the drywall, and it was about 2-3 feet ABOVE their document feeder.

Stay safe out there troops!! We're pulling for you.

    Re: Hurricane Florence

I know what many of you out there are going through, went through Harvey last year, back in the house, its still a work in progress, you know all them news stories of people getting out with just a few trash bags of stuff, that was us, water over a foot deep in the house, 3 feet or more outside on the driveway, got picked up in a boat at my front door, and funny thing, I was fixing a cup of coffee standing in ankle deep water, told the wife I need a cup, and all we could do, was try to save what we could get it up to higher places, lots of stuff on top of the water bed, I went through Rita many years ago, and I would rather go through 5 Rita's then one Harvey again.
Nothing worse then slogging out memories and belongings out to the curb, and watching scavengers going through them later, don't know what bugs me more, that I had to toss all my stuff, or people going through all that water logged crap now..
Anyway if your in the path, and you can get out, I'd say get out, I have rode out a few, Like Rita, that was a ride too...WOW...wont do it again.

Well, on a positive note, for me, work is closed Friday, with pay. Depending on how bad the wind and rain ar, may get out early tomorrow.

Now the thing is supposed to stall, dump rain for days. Wilmington could get 40 inches. My town will have curfew starting tomorrow.
