Canon CLCs had a transfer drum, and used static to adhere the page to it while transfer was happening. A jam occurred and the key op thought the page was stuck to the drum. When she finally removed it, she sprayed anti static spray that a person would use for clothes. I shouldn't complain too much as she explained this to me right after I discovered no static and was considering a HVT.

    Re transparencies....

I've removed a few OHT/Celcast transparencies from fuser units over the years.
Had one or two customers insist on running plain sheets of clear plastic through their copier.
Some plastics peal off the fuser rollers, while some plastic requires the entire fuser unit to be rebuilt/replaced.

Had a customer that cleaned the glass with some kind of anti-static anti-glare cleaner.
All the copies were out of focus and smeared, but the glass was super clean.
2 days yes 2 days of swapping optic parts out.
Finally out of frustration i started cleaning the machine, one drop of normal window cleaner dropped on the glass and the droplet turned white.
Cleaned the rest of the glass and bobs you auntie.
    Whatever

Was it Pennzoil racing lube, or Caltex CX3, I would have been annoyed too...

    Re: C.I.P.'s (Customer Induced Problems)

Having worked on Fort Bragg for 20 years, I have told most of these stories before, so I won't go into detail, but I will list some for some of the newer members...

    Poured liquids in toner bottle
Poured ground charcoal in toner bottle.
    Took contract machine to Afghanistan
    Broke glass copying butt
ream of paper in tray with wrapper still on
    Coat hanger stuck in gears
    Bullet in ADF
Mountain Dew gumming up gears in finisher
Threw IU away and set toner bottle in its place
    Using sorter trays as bookshelf
Filled toner bottles with other brands of toner...35 to 40 times
    Kicked in bottom paper tray
Using preprinted paper in trays...don't understand why there iis 2 images
Abused machine to point that parts are hanging off...bypass tray drawers ect
Took finisher off and threw away
Never understood that spare toner is in cabinet under...would have as many as 4 bottles and be calling shop because tey are down with no toner.

I am sure there are more, just can't remember right now.

Oh man! Smoking motor oil in the fuser! I'll bet that smelled nice! No risk of fire, but it would billow out clouds of smoke. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
