Lexmark is a 100% Chinese Owned company

NineStar Corporation of China, formerly known as Apex Technologies, 100% owns Lexmark.

In 2016, Apex Technologies purchased Lexmark for $3.6B USD cash at 15% above the asking price. Lemark USA, when it was a USA company, actually sued Apex 16 times for patent thefts.

The Chinese gov't helped Apex, a relatively small and unknown Chinese manufacturer of inkjet toner and cartridges, purchase Lexmark.

The gov't of China owns at least 5% of Apex.

Under a Chinese gov't plan, known as China 2025, the Chinese gov't intends to globally dominate select technology industries to further its own self interests.

On lexmark.com you cannot find any information regarding who the owners of the company are nor any financial statements. This is on purpose by the Chinese gov't.

Lexmark is deeply entrenched in many aspects of Western gov't technology infrastructures including the USA, the Federal gov't and the Dept of Defense. To be fair, many highly respected and truly patriotic Americans manage (but do not own) Lexmark USA.

The USA/China trade war has greatly increased tensions between the world's two largest economies.

Lexmark.com gives no hint of who they really are and does not invite discussion on this topic.

As sellers and service providers of Lexmark's product and services, should there by any concern over who really benefits from our efforts?

At the best its a dodgy toner pirate trying to go legit, at the worse they are going to get banned for tendering for government jobs like Huawei and the 5G rollout.

China is a communist country. The gov't of China owns at least 5% of Lexmark. China is the USA's and the Western world's largest and most advanced economic competitor. Selling & servicing Lexmark product directly profits China.

The stated ambition of China 2025 is, in select industries, to displace the West in terms of technological leadership and market share.

It is a firmly fixed part of Chinese culture that it is acceptable to steal or copy other countries intellectual property to advance their position and make short term profits.

China is currently wrongly holding captive two innocent Canadian citizens and intends to execute a 3rd Canadian accused of drug trafficking.

one of the main reasons China 2025 is going to be a problem is due to the Intellectual Property theft by China over the past few decades. IF some in the US Congress would STOP taking bribes from Chinese Lobbyists and pushing their agenda the rest of the world would be better off!

Australia & New Zealand have already banned Huawei telecom equipment from being installed in their networks.

The German gov't is now considering banning Huawei equipment from any future 5G installs in its country citing security concerns.

The US and Uk are now trying to influence its telecom carriers to remove all Huawei equipment.

Huawei is #2 in the world after Samsung for smartphone shipment. Apple is in 3rd place. The US Dept of Defence no longer allows Huawei smartphones to be sold to military personnel on its bases.

Sounds harsh, but is absolutely true.

Mainland Chinese are very loyal people...to all those close to them. Anyone outside their family or close circle of friends is "fair game" and need not be treated with honesty, loyalty or respect. It's a product of their history. Oppression tends to limit trust, in that if you don't know whom you can trust, it's better not to trust anyone.
