Hey, this is a curiosity.
How many printers do you have to manage? I about 200 units, mostly Konica Minolta.

At my previous job, about 400. 200 Lexmark and the rest was a completely random assortment. We got graded on callbacks of these, by the page count, just like any other copier. So you needed to go several months between calls, to not be hit with a recall.
With 5 days of ride along training, I was left to go for broke on 180 analog Minolta fax/copier/printers of all types.
Then we all needed to morph into digital/computer masters on our own...A+ N+... so good to go with 400 assigned accounts.
Then our Color Experts (5) were all sucked into Production Printing, so 500 assigned accounts with 4 hour response for us common techs.
MFP's today are so easy for any one to fix, you will hardly notice when the give you another 3 Hospitals to cover by yourself, right?

What would be the right proportion?
I think 1 technician can handle 300 MFP
Actually, it depends on the model of the printer in the field.
