10871087, I could be wrong, but I think that was said in a sarcastic manner".

I would like to say to all of you liberals, "GET OVER IT!!!"

The first "scandal" listed is how Bush stole the election. He won fairly and legally. It is so funny how the other side is quick to yell scandal at anything. Like the president is some all knowing individual. People just want someone to blame. All presidents have scandals because of this. The president is a good target when you not only do not like him, but HATE him.

Liberals should be giddy with excitement, your man has been elected. And rest assured there will be plenty of scandals in the Obama campaign.

Well, I was expecting a more close vote, but I'm glad to see this clear result. Obama can't change things into gold over night and he has to prove that he's more than the sunnyboy next-door.

    PS:

Has anyone watched the last south park episode?

But you have to understand as far as the press is concerned he will never do anything wrong.

He inherited that from Bill, just like he's hiring all his people.

Yea, personal accountability is a thing of the past. Who was it that coined the term "teflon president". That was about Reagon during Iran contra gate. Oley North ever the good soldier took the heat instead.

If I had a nickel for everytime the media made a reference to Bush being responsible for the war I'd be rich. The fact of the matter is the Senate and House all made it possible. As is the case with most matters foreign and domestic; legislatively speaking of course. The farce is perpetuated by the media and is swallowed whole by an ignorant electorate. Nothing could be that simple.

If we dont get to the bottom of the causes of the housing crisis and the credit economy tanking the lessons are lost. A little bit like a reckless son or daughter who finally figure out money doesnt grow on trees. The regulations that brought about the 40:1 lending practices and the lack of credit worthiness for mortgages lies at the foot of the democrats relaxing the rules and the lenders and borrowers believing in fairy tales. But we'll have to go back to a simpler time and remember people like Truman who said the buck stops here because nobody in this day and age will do it.

I think of Oliver North and 9 or 10 others including the Secretary of Defense convicted in the Iran-Contra scandal under President Regan.

(I'm a little younger, but not much)
