Re: What is the dumbist customer comment/question you've heard?

I have had a customer in a school that reported a plastic burning smell from a Canon iR ADV 7000 series and that image quality was poor as it was leaving yellow stains all over the page.....

Turns out that they though as the fuser got hot you were able to use the printer as a laminator So they put, in the bypass tray a pre-printed sheet in a laminating pouch and told the machine it was a transparency and printed a blank page.
Laminator sheet melted in the fuser. Doh!!!
They couldn't understand what they had done wrong.

I have seen machines where mice have gotten inside and their urine has etched through circuit traces.

I didn't actually see it, but my buddy found a mouse stretched between two fuser lamp terminals. They reported a "burnt smell."
