Recently picked up a very gently used Ricoh MP161SPF from a wholesaler for peanuts. Since it is my brand taking care of it will be a piece of cake. This would be my first 'proper' commercial grade MFP at the house, all prior was just consumer level junk.

I have a brother 8710, two Ricoh MP 171, an HP 4000, and two HP Color printers, all from the goodwill pile at work. They all function.

4000 series were great printers. Wish I could still get them.

Did a quick search and for some reason there were five refurbs left at Walmart.com for 179 bucks. Plus if you really want to pay a lot Amazon had some for around 800 plus.

Yes, an MPC305SPF, not really for work just for personal use, very handy, it was a scrap machine but I rebuilt & repaired it ;O)

Have a small canon, gets used as a loaner, etc and I do actually use it to copy checks, etc. for my personal use. Have had many good oldies around until I robbed them for parts.

Only bit and pieces of copiers...
Need to get one to print my PCB transfers.

There is only one printer i will allow in my house.
And that would be a brother laser like the DN8880 or the KM B20.
    Whatever

Re: Do you have a copier at home?

Kind of weird but I had to dig through the spare bedroom junk closet. And found a Canon NP1020. A friend wanted me to look at it a few years ago, like eight or more. I did rebuild the drum unit but it needed toner. He didn't have any and by the time I found some in stock he had already replaced with a little image class and didn't want it back. So I stuck the beast in an out of the way place and forgot about it. Heck the cleaning blade has probably melted to the drum by now. Saw that happen to one customer with a PC6re. They got a "great deal" toner cartridges and bought ten of them. I warned them not to buy that many because they only used one every four or five months, And then when they put the sixth one in it had lines across the page.

Anyway the old warhorse 1020 is going to the recycle center to be broken up and the circuit boards removed for metal recovery.

Re: Do you have a copier at home?

I have a SP3410SF which I fished out of the skip and brought back to life.

But I would like a small A4 colour laser MFD for home.
Problem is I personally don't like Ricoh's lower end offerings.

So I have a eye on a Canon i-SENSYS MF633Cdw which is a charming little MFD.

Cool Re: Do you have a copier at home?

Konica Bizhub C200. Work was going to junk it so i rescued it. Has come in handy for friends and family. Got a set of toners and image units for free so it'll never cost me anything.
