I work 8:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday, never more, sometimes less.

Democracy is still the worst form of government, except for all the rest of them.

7:45-4:30. We get 45 minutes for lunch and can knock off pretty much any time after 4. No weekends or Holidays.

Wow the OP must have a bunch of VERY CLEAN machines to only need to svc them 15 mins at a time. I can understand 15 mins for a toner spill at the hopper but damn. I want your job!!

On another note I work a total of 4 hours a day of actual labor, the rest is research / taking calls from endusers who don't know how to install toner bottles.

About 25 hours a day, plus weekends...

So, just when is this "old enough to know better" thing supposed to kick in?

YHEL23 does the same 5 machines every day. Me, I just get paid. No work. I'd rather sit here and scan the web meaninglessly.

Actually, it's not all that bad.

Being a systems analyst (I was a tech in my former life), I get the opportunity to work from home quite a lot.

Some days I get to play help desk guy, helping out customers, techs, and salesreps.

Ever since I got a WebEx account, my life has been a lot easier, being able to remote in to customers' computers (with their assistance, of course), managed sites, and various RIPs and enablers.

Some days I can actually be more productive that way than being in the field, or (yuk) office!

So, just when is this "old enough to know better" thing supposed to kick in?
