crap day

anybody have a crap day and think why me?

the other day i hit a pothole and damaged a new tyre (1 month old) at £135

, the cars in for a service £200 i'm going to court for a traffic accident from 3 years ago - the 3rd party are saying they wasn't even there at the accident.

The tyres are pi**ing me off as i had 2 new tyres fitted but I didn't like them so sold them at a loss of £100 and got 2 new ones at £270 so i didn't need the pothole to stick a hole in a new tyre and cause me more grief.

I've now complained and submitted a claim to the local council.

Well, good luck with that! I just hope in UK things work out a little better than here where I live - if you break your car because of a hole in the road, it's your own goddam fault.

In the US most tire places will sell you a road hazard warrenty for around $10 with the purchase of a new tire. This includes damaged tire replacement, free flat repair and free rotation. As much as I'm on the road, I always get this and have used it many times over the years. As far as the crap day, hell yes. We all have those every now and then. What really sucks is when you have a crap week where every day gets exponentially worse. Thank God for beer.

Whenever I'm having that kind of day, I always try to remember: Somewhere there is a Mr. Pelosi, and he has to kiss that puckered hemorrhoid good night. And I thank God I'm not him.

Well the hole in question has been filled in - took 2 days. 1 to report it 2nd day tol fill it in, i can only take it that the council thought it was as bad as i described and took quick action. I only hope that they see it was as bad as i said and they refund me the £135.

The court case - well im in the progress of tracking down this shister who hit me and is now denying all knowledge. Having to get phone bills and do some of my own DIY detective work.
