Place I'm at has 12 year old plus cars. All are rusted, dented and beat. Some have different colored fenders. One in particular was hit hard in the quarter panel. You can see the marks from it being hammered out. One has over 230,000 miles on it. Talk about embarrassment when pulling up to a customer. Everyplace else I've worked, one had a half decent van. The others wanted you to have a nice car, and you received a higher allowance for a newer car.

Dude, I would be claiming some mileage at the end of the year on taxes. In 2009 the government allowed .55/mile. You can claim the difference as a business expense as long as you keep a contiguous mileage log (account for all miles driven)

it's been awhile but konica used to have comp. cars
i am looking for work there a few comp.s that have comp. cars
if a tech has to use his car it's like this
a tech has to have money up front ( his net cash ) to gas up, for parking, toll fees or tag,
i think this makes me a partner / not an employe/
i don't care about that crap of getting rembursed, i am still use my money to work.

dude i feel you. i feel less than an employee. i pay soo much in oil changes, gas, tires, wear and tear for my car that i feel like im basically paying to work! companies should not cheap out and get company cars with the whole shibang but all company are looking out for the stockholders instead of the employees.

We're happy with our arrangement to run our own cars, $595 per month plus 32cent per kilometre. The Boss did think about giving us company cars but when we found out he was looking at Diahatsu Mira's we threatened to mutiny!
I was running a compact Benz but being a german car it suddenly suffered from "Stalingrad Syndrome", it refused to retreat! As the cost of rebuilding the 'box was more than the car was worth is was off to grovel to the bank manager and now I cruise around in a Mazda 6.

Currently we've got Scion xB's. I wouldn't buy one for myself or as service vehicles, but I'm not paying for it so I'm not complaining. They are good on gas, but I don't pay for any of the operating expenses save for a car wash that gets reimbursed. Previously we've had Ford Windstars (my fav since you never ran out of room), Chrysler PT Losers, Mitsubishi Expo's, Volkswagen Jetta's, Volkswagen Golf's and Volkswagen Fox's.
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.
