Our first game is Vs Germany. Should be great. We are all going in to the office and watching it on the 65" LCD in the showroom! Doesn't matter what time it finishes.... we'll all be at work anyway..... might need a change of clothes though if we win!

We'll probably not succeed in our first match with England, but it will be more difficult than some believe. England's success in getting to this World Cup is the exception of one of my favorite jokes, "What's the best thing about being on the England National Team? You get the summers off!". I'll be disappointed if the US doesn't advance but all of the traditionally weaker nations (including the US) are stronger so the outcome of any match is less predictable than in the past.

I had to laugh at one of the suggestions for what US supporters could chant at the England match. Repeatedly yelling "soccer..soccer..soccer..soccer....."

    Cheers!

HA,HA - Europeans are just fickle and short sighted but thats for a different rant.

USA are not a bad side they beat Spain 2-0 in a tournament and Spain are joint or sole favourites so the USA should get to the second round ok

Does the USA have any home grown international players? Once they get the hang of football then maybe they can try a real man's game and maybe enter for the six nations.
Sorry folks, reputation removed by Just Manuals, because he's a sad little wanker
