There really are some horribly sick customers out there. At least they saw the error of their way and let hope there aren't too many more machines rotting away in nasty toilets that we may have to fix!!!
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

I had a somewhat similar situation on a Canon NP6551 quite a few years ago. I was in a cubicle with ~ 100 mailboxes. The whole cubicle was only a few feet bigger that the machine. The front door would not even open all the way, with piles of paper on the DF.

This was one of our bigger customers and I didn't want to piss them off, but could not work on the machine like that. Each time I went to that site I asked the office manager to please take down one of the cubicle walls and move the mailboxes so the machine could be properly serviced. I have no idea how anyone could remove a paper jam or even load paper. The door would not open far enough to slide out the bed/fuser drawer.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I would have shown them the diagram in the owners manual, with the proper clearances. Of course, the salesman told them it was a perfect fit... I've very often moved a copier to a place with more space to work on it, then return it when done. But I guess we can all agree; If a copier's butted against a dirty toilet, we ain't touching it.

I guess this also should be posted on the "What is the biggest piece of crap" thread.
