Not sure it's weird - more a sign of the times....

Loom Bands - lots of them - dropped inside the machine - managed to get themselves everywhere - hard to find and even harder to remove some of them.

Obviously no one knew how they got there!!...despite most of the women in the office wearing bracelets made from them.....

Recently someone's bound appointment/note/calendar booklet stuck at the registration of a 601.

Had some unexplained oily soaked sheets found in a paper tray once......and they somehow managed to pass one through a 1312.

In both cases no one knew anything !!!

I don't remember what model ... it was probably a 60ppm Canon ... was infested with box elder bugs. The high voltage units served as a built-in bug zapper, and any bugs so unfortunate as to drop onto the imaged paper got flattened by the fuser with a "Crunch!" and an oily stain on the paper.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Oooh, sshhh!t, the usual :
    Gecko inside fuser roller.
Gecko eggs in machine and ADF.
Lizard and cockroachs in fuser roller, smells yum.
Big @ss spider in fuser lamp, nice smell.
Huge bivwac of ants inside a machine laser unit, whole machine was condemed.
Live gecko inside optics, wow talk about confusing diagnostics.
    Cockroach crud for infinity.
Mice chewing feed rollers,p!ssing on PCB,s chewing wires and plastics.
Human hair in a finisher unit.
Full cup of coffee in the fuser flowing onto the ITB unit.
Human Penis greasy outline on copy glass ( boss found that one).
Every kind of mineral dust known to the mining industry.
Every non-OEM after market toner ever manufactured.

And really unknown strange things( when asked, no one knows how they got there) like: paperclips, staples, whiteout ,human hair, biro,labels,OHT's....
Ooooh I wonder how that got there....?.....

Annnddd not forgetting --bangs,knocks,scraps,breaks,dents that strangely just some how appear to happen inside of machines.
