Maybe you are the one to answer this burning question for me. Am I the only one who has a problem with the phrase " I'm doing as best as I can "? You hear it all the time, and it bothers me every time.

Ooohh, that's bad! It should be, "I'm doing the best that I can" or even "I'm doing my best".
