    edge device works good when it works. any software update will put the unit into a tail spin for about a week. I agree with an earlier post that I think this device was designed for the micro manager that is trying to justify their exsistance and not get the boot. To many perople rely on whats on their computer screen and forget that it the people that pay their salary

    When you start treating your people like they need a babysitter, eventually you are left with people who need a babysitter. The only reason Ricoh hasn't seriously started losing good techs is because the economy is still in the pits... that's changing.
    Part of that is the Edge device, part of that is your local management. If your manager tells you to go make happy customers all is well and good - if your directive is to get out of an account without using any parts and just make the numbers look good... we don't think this guy will last long. Not like that anyway.
