Yes there is a policy/plan to help us know what we are expected to do in bad weather.
No we are left to fend for ourselves!?
What's snow?
I'll take the snow.
Blizzard over the weekend, left the roads in really shitty condition, -20C before wind chill factored in...I had to slog through and dodge the stupid drivers out there.

I got 2 this week. I know boss could not stand it but the roads were ice. Started off yesterday as open at 10, then open at 12, then open for emergency calls at which point I put my Monty Python pajamas back on and relaxed. Now I have cabin fever and can not wait to leave this morning. Good luck to you in the northeast, it arrives this morning.

We just had one down here in TX...winter storm warning starting yesterday, (Thur). got off a hour early.
Comming home, had ice forming on antenna of truck.
Got Icecicles from the roof here at home, told to use our judgment as when to go in, lots of offices have closed for the day already, most all schools did.
Over 70 accidents on the roads already since last night, most happening after 6 am today (Fri)
It just started up again out of nowhere. Forecasting 4 to 6 more inches. We are probably leaving.
