    Techity tech tech

I service copiers and, as the customer would like to believe, any electro-mechanical device within the confines of their building. I've even been asked to take a look at a vacuum cleaner, a couple of cars (which is funny if you know me), an elevator, and even an old HO scale model train set.....If only I were evil enough (read: salesperson) to charge for all that extra-curricular activity.

In 2007 I can see the day when all of these items will blur and devices will be multipurpose. The only downside to this is the automobile. I prefer less technology there, not more. Everything else, fine.

    Technician?

    You bet!

Reuse, Recycle, FIX IT, don't toss it.
Ooooh, yes! Can't wait for the day my toaster can photocopy and my screwdriver tells me my washing's done...

Us techs are an odd breed, how many other types of work can you think of that put up with the shit we do?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.
