Took the BizHub 6500 and 1050 class there in 2007; loved it! (along with about 15 weeks worth of Oce classes) If you're there over a weekend, find someone with a car to take you down to the Navy Pier area - rent a bike and cruise up and down the lake. The Howl At The Moon Saloon is a great way to knock back a few beers and enjoy the night as well. But remember, you're in Chicago, it's gonna cost ya some cash.

Where I am, we take most of our training in Atlanta. Real nice down there.

I believe this sums it up quite nicely.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Was down there for Ricoh and EFI schools; best part - Fry's Electronics. That place is like Mecca to a tech.

I know. I live in Atlanta and I try NOT to go there. I have never been able to go and not spend at least $100. I go completely out of control. Shopping with me there is like going with a kid to a toy store. All you here is, "Oh, look at that! Wow! I want one of those! Do you know what you can do with that thing? (followed by a unending stream of technical jargon)." Last time I went with my mom and dad. I think I gave them a headache try to explain everything. So, that place is a go at your own risk. It's only 15 minutes from where I work...hmmm...nope I can't go today.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

Man, for REAL. EVERY time I check out of there it goes like this:

Cashier - "would you like to apply for a Fry's credit card?"
    Me - "ummmmmmmmmmm..........NO."

I'd have that thing maxed out in a matter of milliseconds.

It's geek paradise, all there is to it.

Where else can you find oscilloscope leads and 72" TVs under the same roof?
