When we moved into current house there was a large tree taking up most of the front yard and hanging over the roof. Mrs Lagonda noticed that there was a work crew two streets away trimming tree branches back from the power lines. A quick deal was done that involved a carton of beer and the offending tree quickly vanished.

You got quite a bargain. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I kept having people quoting me $100 and up for tree removal. I am from the country and wood is a commodity to us. So I contacted a guy who sells firewood and got 6 trees dropped for free. He took the wood, and I burned the branches.

In Georgia it must be a big business. Over here you have to make sure that the guys who cut the trees are insured and bonded (nothing like having someone take a tree down in your yard and it destroys your neighbor's house or car in the process). Just to begin it is $1000, then $200 per tree. Our deal should make it cheaper.

We tried to get the permit for the shed. Well, all the paperwork I saw on the house said there was county sewage. According to the tax department records, however it has a septic tank. That was a surprise. We need permission from the environmental department before we can get the permit, because the shed (which will not have a foundation but be on cement blocks) can't be built on top of it. When we got to the environmental department (other building on other side of town), we were told there had never been any record of where the septic tank is on file and an inspection was required. We were charged $110 on the spot for the inspection, which will occur today. When they give their approval we can pay $55 for the permit to build a workshop for my dad. You'd think we were building a house!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
