I know of two - one I worked with another I met when training at Konica Minolta.
There are not many of you but there are some. Good to see.
The force will be with you always.
I don't know of any 'current' female copier techs but I know a lady who worked on copiers in the 1960's... I do know a lady electronics technician, though. I think it is a male dominated industry and probably always will be, for so many reasons (most girls don't like getting dirty, to start with!).
If you are hitting your head up against a wall it always feels better when you stop.
Two Currently working for Canon in Ireland.. There very good to.
I've known a total of 4 women copier technician in my 21 years of copier life, most women don' like the dirt and grease associated with this field. I've seen more women now starting to carry tool bags and maybe a start of a new trend, it definitely make this industry more interesting.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
I personally know about 11 Ladies that pack a mean screwdriver. I have seen quite a few in my 25+ years in this industry.
I've worked with two just recently one trainned on sharps and the other trainned on Kyoceras. great techs.....
The ladies are out there but few and far between. I even know of one thats a service manager that came from the field.
Mystic Crystal Revelations
I can think of a few and the strange thing is when i have been to copier factories there are normally more women than men many of whom could if they wanted to be very good field engineers imo.
One of our trainers was a woman. She was a great instructor. She knew just how to deal with a room full of overinflated egos.
