    Re: COPYISMS

I recall a Canon copier with a similar problem. Only with certain users, when setting up complex print jobs the machine would clear/reset back to home screen, especially when there was an ample breast upon the reset key. I was quite young and shy, and unsure exactly how to explain this to the enduser, so I found her manager and we went through the entire demonstration again. The manager caught on to the problem quickly, and sent me on my way.

I might be dumb, but I could see a write up in my future if I didn't handle that correctly. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.

Can't say I've yet experienced any user issues of that sort, though I await the day. I hope it happens to my co-worker more than myself actually, as he's a little more gun shy on anything of THAT personal a nature. The hilarity that would ensue would ensure everyone would be in stitches -- everyone being myself.

Well done. I think thats what's called getting abreast of the problem... (A real pun in cheek)

Not this time, although once I did gather a few strange looks when I split the back seam out of my pants and asked where the bathroom was and if I could borrow a stapler..

Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt!
